Electromagnetic Heating Skids

Flameless skid-mounted induction heating for crude, heat-transfer oil and water: electromagnetic induction makes the vessel or pipe itself the heating element — fast, uniform, maintenance-free heating for explosion-rated zones where open flame is not an option.

Working Principle

An induction coil generates an alternating magnetic field that induces eddy currents in the metal wall of the tank or pipeline, which heats the internal medium directly — no burner, no flue.

  1. Electromagnetic induction heats the vessel wall itself.
  2. The medium — crude, thermal oil, water — heats rapidly and uniformly.
  3. No open flame: intrinsically suited to explosion-proof zones.

Application Scenarios

  • Gathering & transport: pipeline heat tracing, viscous-crude viscosity reduction, wellhead heating for high pour-point crudes.
  • Chemical processes: reactor heating, tank insulation duty, asphalt and paraffin melting — replacing open flame and steam.
  • Water treatment: constant-temperature sewage treatment, sludge-drying preheat.
